Prospective students may apply for the Erasmus Mundus scholarship through the Erasmus Mundus Masters in LCT. For the programme 2010-2012, it is projected that the LCT Masters is to receive approximately 17 Erasmus Mundus scholarships. The consortium submits a ranked list to the EU for approval, consisting of a main and waiting list.

These scholarships can be awarded to any masters students selected by EMMC consortia and who are residents or nationals of any of the 27 EU Member countries (Germany, Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Spain, Finland, France, Greece, Ireland, Italy, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Portugal, the UK, Sweden, Cyprus, Estonia, Hungary, Latvia, Lithuania, Malta, Poland, Czech Republic, Slovak Republic, Slovenia, Bulgaria, Rumania), the EEA-EFTA states (Iceland, Norway and Liechtenstein) or who are residents or have carried out their main activity (studies, work, etc.) for more than a total of 12 month over the last five years in one of these countries.

- a statement of interest written in English. Please write at most two pages focusing on:
- your reasons for applying
- your areas of interest in relation to the various disciplines that contribute to the methods of language and communication technologies (Language Technology, Computational and Theoretical Linguistics, and Computer Science)
- your preferences for the host and partner Universities.
- a current Curriculum Vitae (CV), written in English
- certified copies of your Bachelor’s degree, certificates attesting to the fulfillment of the language requirements and a transcript of academic records.
