The Saarland University offers The Erasmus Mundus Scholarship Program for the year 2010/11 to Overseas Applicants in Germany
Prospective students may apply for the Erasmus Mundus scholarship through the Erasmus Mundus Masters in LCT. For the programme 2010-2012, it is projected that the LCT Masters is to receive approximately 17 Erasmus Mundus scholarships. The consortium submits a ranked list to the EU for approval, consisting of a main and waiting list.

Scholarship Details:
scholarships can be awarded to masters students selected by EMMC consortia who come from a country other than an EU member state, an EEA-EFTA state (Iceland, Norway and Liechtenstein) and who are not residents nor have carried out their main activity (studies, work, etc.) for more than a total of 12 months over the last five years in one of these countries.

- a statement of interest written in English. Please write at most two pages focusing on:
- your reasons for applying
- your areas of interest in relation to the various disciplines that contribute to the methods of language and communication technologies (Language Technology, Computational and Theoretical Linguistics, and Computer Science)
- your preferences for the host and partner Universities.
- a current Curriculum Vitae (CV), written in English
- certified copies of your Bachelor’s degree, certificates attesting to the fulfillment of the language requirements and a transcript of academic records.
